Gaylene Turner has a B.A. of Intercultural Studies and a Masters of Counselling. She is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#11874); CVAP (Crime Victim Assistance Program) Approved Counsellor and FNHA Approved Counsellor who has been assisting clients professionally for twenty years in a variety of capacities.
She is passionate about helping people recognize their own strength and ability to grow. People have affirmed that she has a unique ability to connect with individuals from all walks of life, ages and cultures, and to help them feel comfortable, safe and at ease. As an empathetic listener, sh has a sensitivity to tune into the needs of others. Being non-judgmental, open, and committed to authenticity are qualities that she brings to the counselling process. She practices with genuine gentleness, compassion, humour, acceptance, curiosity, creativity, and sense of adventure so that people feel open to explore their needs in a safe manner.
